Thank you so much for all of your support during my run for the Board of Education. I was touched by all the encouragement I received during the past few months. I had a wonderful team of volunteers helping out each week. Our walk program included hundreds of people of all ages, coming from all parts of the city. I am truly blessed to have had such a supportive group of people throughout this grueling campaign.
Unfortunately, even with our best efforts, I did not win a seat on the Board. My commitment to San Francisco public schools does not end with this election, I will continue my work helping kids.
The final chapter of my campaign is to “retire the debt.” Running a city wide campaign against fourteen other candidates was quite expensive.
